What to do when the food is too spicy?

Maybe you've mislabelled your containers and wrote Paprika where it's actually Chilly Powder. Or maybe you meant to add a teaspoon and added a tablespoon instead (I confess that one gets to me a little hahaha). Anyway, could happen to any of us. Often times - unless you're a spice lover - that comes on too strong. Now, there are better solutions to this problem than drinking milk with every bite, though that may go really well with some dishes!
