Condensed Milk Biscuits







Prep time: 20 minutes   Cook time: 15 to 20 minutes   Servings: 5 dozens

Ingredients
250g of butter;
250g of condensed milk;
2 eggs;

3.5 teacups of all-purpose flour;
1 tablespoon of baking powder;
2 tablespoons of custard powder;
5 tablespoons of greased coconut.




Preparation
  1. In one bowl put the butter in a room temperature and pour the condensed milk. Mix it until you get an homogeneous mixture;
  2. Put your eggs and mix;
  3. Add custard powder and the coconut. When you mix it you will see the dough getting a yellow color;
  4. Add your baking pour and mix just a little bit with a wooden spoon;
  5. Finally add flour and mix until you get a strong consistency. Knead with your hands, wrap the dough with a vegetal or sticky paper and reserve it in the fridge for at least 15 minutes;
  6.   Make some little circles with the dough and press it with a fork; 
  7. Put it in a tray and let it in the oven for 15 minutes or until starts getting a gold color;
  8. Let it cool down and serve it!

Notes:
*Do not add too much flour to your dough;
**You can mold the biscuits in a way that you like and as an option put chocolate chips, greased coconut or even sugar on the top.

Rissois de Vegetais (Portuguese treat)

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Water; 1 cup All- purpose flour; 1/2 tbsp Butter; 1 Lemon peel; Salt. Filling: 3 tbsp Canned corn; 3 tbsp Diced carrots; 3 tbsp Sliced mushrooms; 3 tbsp Sliced Olives; 3 tbsp Diced onions; 1 tbspButter; 1 cup Milk; 2 tbsp Flour; Parsley; Salt; Pepper. Pork Samosas

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Flour; 1/4 cup Hot water; Salt; Vegetable oil. Filling: 4 tbsp Diced onions; 125g Ground pork; Parsley; Meat seasoning of choice; Garlic powder; Olive oil; Salt; Pepper. Glue: Flour; Water. Preparation Dough: 1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt together and then add water, little by little. You might need more or less water, depending on the temperature in your kitchen. 2. Work the dough for about 5 minutes until it starts to become hard. 3. Cut the dough into 8 equal parts and make them into round balls. 4. Stretch these balls with a rolling pin into round circles (not too stretched). 5. Brush oil on 6 of the circles. 6. Make two stashes of 4 circles placed on top of each other, leaving the ones without any oil on top. 7.
