What is happening with my popcorn?!

We've all had that brilliant idea of planning a "Netflix and chill" with a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband, or even alone. We start by choosing the best movie of all times and then think about food. By this time everything is going into a 5 stars way until you decide to cook a huge bowl of popcorn and you get the worst result. You should not be ashamed because it can happen with anyone.
Many people end up ordering some pizza, eat some chips or even make microwave popcorn. But we all agree that homemade popcorn is the best one!!!
Now it is time to challenge yourself and get some great tips to be successful.

  1. Be Patient many people think that if you increase the level of the heat it will cook faster. Yeah! That is true. But you will have burnt popcorn or uncooked popcorn kernels. Just cook it in medium heat and wait. Do not rush!
  2. Use a big pan Your popcorn needs some space to pop. So make sure it has it.
  3. Be careful when seasoning do not use too much sugar or too much salt. It is horrible because it tastes awful.
  4. Watch out for the oil Avoid using a huge amount of oil as if where trying to deep fry it. Because after you finish you will have oily popcorn (for me that is kind of gross :(  ... )
  5. Sweet popcorn isn't hard to be cooked my friends always prefer to cook salty popcorn because it is all they can do. But the sweet ones aren't that hard. You just need to quickly add the sugar while the popcorn is still popping and then shake the pan (Please! the pan needs to be closed).
