Chicken leg quarter in the oven

 


Preparation: 25 minutes   Cooking: 40 minutes   Total: 1hour and 5 minutes  Serving: 2 portions

Ingredients
2 chicken leg quarters
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of orange juice
2 tablespoons of barbecue sauce
1 teaspoon of butter
1 teaspoon of oregano
1 teaspoon of garlic
 ½ teaspoon of pepper powder
1 teaspoon of parsley

Preparation
  1. In one small bowl add the olive oil, salt, oregano, garlic, pepper powder and parsley. Mix it well and reserve.
  2. In a small frying pan put the barbecue sauce with orange juice and butter. Mix and let it cook of 2 minutes in a low heat. Let it cool for 3 minutes;
  3. Pour it on the bowl and whisk it. Season your chicken with this mixture and let it rest for at least 25 minutes. Preheat your oven (210 C) 8 minutes before cooking it;
  4. Pick your tray and put vegetable parchment paper at the top. Place you chicken and put it in your oven;
  5. Let it cook for 40 minutes or until it's cooked;
  6. During the cooking process you can add some more sauce with a brush;
  7. Wile it is till hot, serve with rice, salad, couscous or anything you desire.

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Water; 1 cup All- purpose flour; 1/2 tbsp Butter; 1 Lemon peel; Salt. Pork Samosas

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Flour; 1/4 cup Hot water; Salt; Vegetable oil. Filling: 4 tbsp Diced onions; 125g Ground pork; Parsley; Meat seasoning of choice; Garlic powder; Olive oil; Salt; Pepper. Glue: Flour; Water. Preparation Dough: 1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt together and then add water, little by little. You might need more or less water, depending on the temperature in your kitchen. 2. Work the dough for about 5 minutes until it starts to become hard. 3. Cut the dough into 8 equal parts and make them into round balls. 4. Stretch these balls with a rolling pin into round circles (not too stretched). 5. Brush oil on 6 of the circles. 6. Make two stashes of 4 circles placed on top of each other, leaving the ones without any oil on top. 7.
