Custard Cake








Ingredients
Cake
4 medium eggs
1 teacup of caster sugar
200 grams of butter
3/4 teacup of warm milk
½ tablespoons of baking powder
3 tablespoons of Custard powder
A pinch of salt

Topping
3 tablespoons of custard powder
¾ teacup of milk
Cinnamon powder
3 tablespoons of coconut milk (optional)
2 tablespoons of sugar
Grated coconut

Preparation
Cake
  1. Preheat the oven at 190⁰C and grease a tin with butter and all-purpose flour;
  2. In one bowl mix the butter with sugar and salt until you obtain a creamy mixture;
  3. Add the eggs one-by-one and mix it for about 3 minutes;
  4. In another bowl put the flour with custard powder and sift it. Add a quarter of this dry ingredient and alternate it with the milk. Make sure that at the end it turns homogeneous;
  5. Put the baking powder and mix it gently;
  6. Put your cake batter in the tin and cook this at 180C for 45 minutes or until you insert a knife and it come out clean.
Topping

  1. In a pan pour milk, custard powder, coconut milk and sugar. Mix until is homogeneous;
  2. Take the pan and heat it in a medium-low heat while you mix it;
  3. Keep mixing it and after few minutes the consistency will start getting creamy;
  4. While the topping is still hot add the cinnamon powder and pour it in your cake;
  5. Sprinkle with some grated coconut and serve it.
Notes:
* This recipe is just for one layer. If you want to have a cake like the photo just bake it two times;
**After put the baking powder in a mixture avoid over-mixing;
*** It is very important to prepare all the ingredients before you start.

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Water; 1 cup All- purpose flour; 1/2 tbsp Butter; 1 Lemon peel; Salt. Pork Samosas

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Flour; 1/4 cup Hot water; Salt; Vegetable oil. Filling: 4 tbsp Diced onions; 125g Ground pork; Parsley; Meat seasoning of choice; Garlic powder; Olive oil; Salt; Pepper. Glue: Flour; Water. Preparation Dough: 1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt together and then add water, little by little.
