Apple and Cinnamon Pastries

 





Prep time: 5 minutes    Cook time: 30 minutes   Total: 35 minutes  Servings: 10 units

Ingredients

275 grams of puff pastry

3 apples

3 tablespoons of caster sugar

1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder

2 tablespoons of flour

1 egg beaten



Preparation

  1. Take a tray, put parchment paper at the top and preheat the oven at 190⁰ C;
  2. In a pan unpeel the apples and dice them. Add the sugar and cinnamon and let it cook for 4 minute in a low-medium heat;
  3. You  will see your mixing releasing some water so you have to add flour to reduce that, and let it cook until it absorbs at least 50% of the water;
  4. Cut the puff pastry into small but equal shapes;
  5. Take one piece of it and put the apple pieces at the top but avoid to put to much of the sauce on it. Cover it with puff pastry;
  6. With a fork press the sides to make the puff pastry's pieces stick together. Place the pastries in a tray with parchment paper and brush it some egg to make them shine;
  7. Take a knife and make a short cross at the top and let it cook for 18 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Water; 1 cup All- purpose flour; 1/2 tbsp Butter; 1 Lemon peel; Salt. Pork Samosas

Ingredients Dough: 1 cup Flour; 1/4 cup Hot water; Salt; Vegetable oil. Filling: 4 tbsp Diced onions; 125g Ground pork; Parsley; Meat seasoning of choice; Garlic powder; Olive oil; Salt; Pepper. Glue: Flour; Water. Preparation Dough: 1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt together and then add water, little by little. You might need more or less water, depending on the temperature in your kitchen. 2. Work the dough for about 5 minutes until it starts to become hard. 3. Cut the dough into 8 equal parts and make them into round balls. 4. Stretch these balls with a rolling pin into round circles (not too stretched). 5. Brush oil on 6 of the circles. 6. Make two stashes of 4 circles placed on top of each other, leaving the ones without any oil on top. 7.
